The Class of 2026 checked out of HPC for the last time today. Graduation is next Saturday, May 9th at 1:00 pm. Thanks for all the memories and good luck with your future endeavors.

The Centura Golf Invite will be starting @ 10:00 am tomorrow, Friday, May 1st. This is due to potential frost on the course. Good Luck to the HPC Golfers tomorrow.
The Storm JHTR season concluded today at the CRC meet at Cross County. The girls finished in the top five as a team. Both the boys & girls came home with medals & PRs today. Congrats on an awesome day and improvement throughout the season HPC track athletes & coaches.
During the break at the CRC JHTR meet, the boys found time to work on some wrestling skills and moves.
The Finals are underway with running events.

A group of students visited Wayne State College on Friday. They were able to check out campus and look at the programs of study they are interested in.
Congratulations to the HPC seniors who received scholarships from the Merrick County Foundation this afternoon.
Last week, 4th grade students had a visit from Deb Beckman of the Nebraska Soybean Board! She taught them about how soybeans are grown, their many uses, and why they are so important. 🌱
Our middle school and high school band students competed in the District Music Concert at Columbus High School. The group was able to showcase their skills and received great feedback from the judges. Great job, Storm!
Our third graders wrapped up their Embryology lesson! 🐣
Thanks to Kara Wells with Merrick County Extension, they hatched chicks in the classroom and watched the process from start to finish—an amazing learning experience!
