Third graders started working with fractions in math! 🎉 They used the letters in their names to explore fractions, finding the fraction of vowels and consonants. They also practiced placing fractions on a number line and did a fantastic job!

Storm boys basketball team wins on the road against Elba tonight 68-34! Way to go Storm!
The Lady Storm basketball team was back in action after the break this evening and defeated Elba 51-29. They will be back in action Saturday vs SRC in Polk.

Third graders wrapped up their Light & Sound unit by writing newspaper articles as news reporters! They chose to report on Alexander Graham Bell’s telephone or Thomas Edison’s light bulb and worked through the full writing process—from planning to a final copy. 📰✨

Our 6th graders worked so hard to complete their plant and animal candy cells, and they turned out amazing!
HPC Boys pick up the first win on the season over Dorchester, 63-30. Good job guys!
