Nebraska State College System Scholarships

Chadron State, Peru State, and Wayne State

There are three scholarships available for incoming freshmen.

Board of Trustees                                                  Deadline    January 15, 2011

(Full Tuition for four years)    (25 ACT)

Governor's Opportunity Award                             Deadline    December 1, 2010

(Half tuition for four years)    (21-24 ACT)

Davis-Chambers Freshmen Scholarship                 Deadline    February 1, 2011

(Worth $8000 over four years)    (3.0 average and completed FAFSA)

Complete a scholarship application found at www.nscs.edu

Graduate in 2011 from a Nebraska high school.

Complete an application for admission to Chadron, Peru, or Wayne State College.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Freshmen Scholarship

Scholarship Application is a part of the registration process.

Collegebound Nebraska

If you are Pell Grant-eligible, Collegebound Nebraska guarantees that you will pay no tuition at UNL, UNK, or UNO.  Even if you are not Pell Grant-eligible, you may receive Collegebound Nebraska support based on information you provide by filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).                                                           

Collegebound Nebraska provides full tuition assistance for up to five years to full time undergraduate students who are Nebraska residents.
