| Education: I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in music from Kearney State College in 1975. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with an additional endorsement in Reading from Kearney State College in 1979. |

| Biographical Information: I lived on a farm the first 10 years of my life, before moving to Aurora where my parents owned and operated a hardware store. I graduated from Aurora High School. While in school I enjoyed being in band, learning all about history, and enjoying various novels in English classes. |
