Sept. 17: Parent Teacher Conferences 2:00-8:00. Mr. Zeller will be available in Clarks from 2:00-4:30 and in Polk from 5:00-7:45. Mrs. Carlson will be in Polk from 2:00-4:30 and Clarks from 5:00-8:00.

Parent Teacher Conferences on September 17th

Activity Sponsors will have practice after school at 1:30 and will not be available for conferences directly at 2:00

Parent teacher conferences will be held at the  Polk and Clarks sites on September 17th from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.  We will have a 10:00 a.m. late start the following day.  Conferences for elementary students in Polk will be held in the 4th and 5th grade classrooms.   The elementary multi-purpose gym will host parent teacher conferences for high school students.  In Clarks, the K-3 conferences will be held in the classrooms and middle school conferences will be held in the multi-purpose gym.  We hope to . . . read more

High Plains FFA to Sponsor Blood Drive

On Friday, October 24, 2014 the High Plains FFA chapter will sponsor a blood drive with the help of the American Red Cross at the Polk Community Center from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Our goal is to collect 35 units of blood throughout the day.  Community members can call the school (402) 765-3331 to make an appointment. The Red Cross will provide the High Plains Community Schools with a $250 scholarship for a graduating senior if we meet our goal of 35 units collected.  Please consider helping the FFA members with this service activity. read more
